Craig Ester

Craig Ester (Director/Writer), is excited to bring the R & J Project to LSU. He is a graduate student in the MFA Acting Program. Craig is also the Co-Founder and Artistic Director of Detroit Michigan’s Break the Chain Theatre Company. He wants to thank the cast and crew for their dedication, and his family, friends, and cohort for their support. This show is dedicated to all the teachers that save our lives. Previous credits include: A Midsummer Night’s Dream, and The Comedy of Errors (Director) with Hoosier Shakespeare Festival, The Book of Will (Marcus/Ensemble) and Roe (McClusky/Flowers/Ensemble), Macbeth (Macbeth) with St. Louis Shakespeare Festival, and Love’s Labors Lost (Director) with Shakespeare Royal Oak.

Zoe Broaden (Alex) is a Sophomore, Psychology major and Business Administration minor. This is her first LSU production, and she is excited for you to see this amazing performance. Zoe has previously performed in The Addams Family, One Stoplight Town, Mamma Mia!, and The Last Round-Up of the Guacamole Queens (BRMHS).

DJ Flood (Lena/Lee) is a freshman Film & Television major making their theatrical debut at LSU. Previous credits at the Louisiana School for Math, Science, and the Arts include: Clue: On Stage (Colonel Mustard), A Midsummer Night’s Dream (Theseus/Oberon), The Unseen Hand (Kid), and The Spongebob Musical (Plankton).

Ashari Harper (Chyna Wallace/Juliet and others) is a second year Theatre (Performance) and Communication Studies double major making her Lab Show season debut in The R and J Project. She’s currently involved in LSU Musical Theatre Club where she is previously credited in: Disney100 Cabaret (Dr. Facilier/Ensemble), Little Shop of Horrors (Audrey 2), and Singeaux (Producer/Performer). Harper is a humble member of The Black Academy of Arts and Letters in Dallas, TX where she also became a member of Broadway Dreams. She is a recording artist under the name of Shari Brooke on all music platforms. Stream her song “Affirmation” on your music listening platform today!

Bryce Hobbs (Tyler/Tybalt/Ensemble) is a freshman at LSU, making their debut at Swine Palace in The R & J Project by Craig Ester. A graduate of Atascocita High School, Bryce has previously performed in several productions, including A View from the Bridge by Arthur Miller, Front by Robert Caisley, The Angelina Project by Frank Canino, Elephant's Graveyard by George Brant, Of Mice and Men by John Steinbeck, and The Miraculous Journey of Edward Tulane by Dwayne Hartford.

Albert "Tre" Williams

Albert “Tre” Williams (Chris/Romeo) Albert "Tre" Williams is a senior Theater Studies major. He has performed for LSU's Study Abroad Program in Scotland. This is his first play acting for LSU Theater. He has done run crew for LSU's Airness and LSU's Physical Theater Performance in 2024.
