Victoria Fairchild

Victoria graduated from Southeastern Louisiana University in 2018 with her bachelor's degree in Biology. She was hired into her first clinical lab as a research assistant right before the start of the COVID-19 pandemic, where she learned to adapt quickly to the ever-changing challenges faced by the healthcare community at that time. She then went on to work as the lab coordinator for the research department at Our Lady of the Lake Hospital. After working in the clinical field for a few years, she realized that she was more interested in pursuing academic research. This led her to her current position with LSU Kinesiology as the Lab Manager for the Exercise Physiology Labs. Victoria is responsible for overseeing the research labs to ensure they are operating smoothly and are compliant with all rules and regulations.
