Learning Experience & Instructional Design Minor
The field of Learning Experience and Instructional Design (LXID) is an exciting, rapidly growing area that centers on creating effective and engaging learning experiences. As a minor, it equips students with foundational skills and knowledge in developing and implementing instructional materials and methods that enhance the learning process.
By emphasizing instructional design theories and learner-centered strategies, students gain an in-depth understanding of how to design and deliver impactful learning experiences across a range of settings and formats. Because the skills acquired through this minor are highly transferable, it complements a wide variety of majors and can lead to diverse career paths in education, training and development, instructional design, e-learning, and beyond.
