ABC - Pelican Chapter of Louisiana 
Recognized as one of the most influential and fastest growing organizations in the
                  country, Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC) is a national association of dedicated
                  individuals, companies, and corporations, who for over half a century, have advanced
                  and defended free enterprise, excellence, and the Merit Shop philosophy throughout
                  the construction industry. Since 1971, ABC has been the champion of free enterprise
                  in Louisiana. The Pelican Chapter of Associated Builders & Contractors, Inc. is returning
                  profit to the industry and the individual.
Louisiana AGC
Established in 1949, the Louisiana Associated General Contractors of America (LAGC)
                  is "the voice of the Louisiana construction industry" with over 700 general contractors,
                  suppliers, and subcontractors as members.
American Council for Construction Education (ACCE)
Accrediting body for post-secondary construction education programs.
American Institute of Constructors (AIC)
AIC is an organization established to help individual construction practitioners achieve
                  the professional status they deserve. The purpose of The American Institute of Constructors
                  (AIC) is to promote individual professionalism and excellence throughout the related
                  fields of construction
American Society of Professional Estimators (ASPE)
Serving construction estimating professionals by promoting ethical behavior, professional
                  development, continuing education, standardization, certification and fellowship.
Associated Schools of Construction (ASC)
The professional association for the development and advancement of construction education,
                  where the sharing of ideas and knowledge inspires, guides and promotes excellence
                  in curricula, teaching, research and service.
Construction Industry Institute (CII)
The Construction Industry Institute, based at The University of Texas at Austin, is
                  a consortium of more than 100 leading owner, engineering-contractor, and supplier
                  firms from both the public and private arenas. These organizations have joined together
                  to enhance the business effectiveness and sustainability of the capital facility life
                  cycle through CII research, related initiatives, and industry alliances. A learning
                  organization with a wealth of knowledge and information, CII is unique in the engineering
                  and construction industry
Construction Management Association of America (CMAA)
CMAA is the only organization in the Western Hemisphere dedicated exclusively to the
                  interests of professional Construction Management/Program Management. CMAA’s Mission
                  is to promote professionalism and excellence in the management of the construction
                  process. 
Design Build Institute of America (DBIA)
The DBIA was formed in 1993 to provide a voice for design-build practitioners and
                  advocate best practices. It provides multi-disciplinary educational programs across
                  the U.S.
Education Board of the American Society of Professional Estimators (ASPE)
This site is sponsored and maintained by the Education Board to promote education
                  of construction estimating disciplines. You will find here many resources for estimating
                  information. The site contains an estimating forum where ASPE members answer estimating
                  questions. 100s of technical articles on estimating topics are available. Information
                  regarding the educational activities of local ASPE chapters is available.
