Science Research Services (SciRS)
Science Research Services (SciRS) is the College of Science’s centralized Research
Services unit. It provides comprehensive, high-quality support for proposal preparation,
routing and internal approvals, award acceptance, and non-financial post-award transactions.
Our Mission
Our mission is to streamline processes, reduce administrative load, and help faculty
secure more grant funding — all while offering staff a clearly defined and fulfilling
career path in research administration.
Why This Matters: A Win-Win Approach
Faculty win: You’ll receive expert, dedicated support for all administrative and proposal-related tasks — so you can focus on your research.
Staff win: Research Services team members receive specialized training and career development opportunities in a professional, clearly defined research administration track.
Our Goals
- Provide service to faculty that is consistent, efficient, and high-quality.
