What We Do
Student Organizations & Involvement
- With over 400 student organizations ranging from student-led service groups to intramural
sports leagues, Campus Life builds a community where students can explore their interests,
develop leadership skills, and build lasting friendships.
Traditions & Campus Culture
- We execute the time-honored LSU traditions that students and the Baton Rouge community
have come to expect like Homecoming, the LSU Tree Lighting, LSU Ring Ceremony, and
Welcome Week. Geaux Tigers!
Volunteer & Service Opportunities
- We champion large service projects like Geaux Big Baton Rouge and take service on
the road during Change Break service trips.
- With the help of student leaders, Campus Life operates Volunteer LSU, which allows
students to complete service projects and volunteer initiatives, making a positive
impact while developing a sense of civic responsibility.
Leadership Development
- We are committed to building the next generation of leaders. At LSU, We Build Teams
That Win in Louisiana for the World. Students can utilize resources and programs designed
to cultivate leadership skills, preparing them for success both during and after their
time at LSU.
- We provide support for Student Government, which serves as a hub for many aspiring
campus leaders advocating for student voices and making differences in the community.
